Synopsis:
Marko is 12-year-old and is enraptured with his boundless childish fantasies and games. The circumstances of his life force him to grow-up quickly. After a savage turn of fate he has to use all the skills and advice he had ignored for a long time in order to save his own mother. All alone in the mountain he has to overcome major difficulties and those who try to help him have to overcome their own prejudice. Marko strives to reach a distant village where there is a church with a miracle icon that can do wonders and help his mother find salvation. The journey to the church, though, proves to be a long one ...
